TITLE: Hanoi Mural
ARTIST: National & international Community mosaic
LOCATION: Red River Dike, Hong Ha Rd. to Yen Phu Rd.
DESCRIPTION: Detail of one of the many vignettes in this 2 mile long and generally 10 ft high mosaic, made mostly from local high fired ceramic tile. It was created to celebrate the 1000 year anniversary of the city of Hanoi on 5th October 2010. A few thousand volunteers along with a number of both local and international artists created this mosaic over a period of 3 years.
