TITLE: Queen Califia's Magical Circle
ARTIST: Niki de Saint Phalle
LOCATION: Kit Carson Park, Escondido
DESCRIPTION: Unbeliveable park made up of sculptures (many snakes) and totum poles all covered in tiled mosaics, pebbles and beautiful gold and deep blue tiles. A must see. Run by the Community Services Department of City of Escondido who were so helpful making sure that it was open for us to view. Hard to find in the middle of Kit Carson Park, but worth the journey. Not far from Wild Animal Park in San Diego
