TITLE: From the River to the Sea

LOCATION: Ocean Garden Restraunt, 1903 Winchester Avenue, Hwy 101, on exterior side wall
DESCRIPTION: This inter-active relief mural and fountain, measuring 18 feet in length and 9 feet in height, depicts the life which abounds on the beautiful Oregon coast. Catch basins are strategically placed to direct falling rain onto and over the colorful Chinook salmon sculptures swimming upstream to spawn. This mural was commissioned in 2001 by The Coastal Arts and Business Alliance, a collaboration of business leaders, regional arts groups, and community boosters to celebrate the concept of water and the coastal environment.
