TITLE: Playground Mosaic

LOCATION: 601 Alhambra Blvd., McKinley Park Playground
DESCRIPTION: Hundreds of volunteers came together to help rebuild a playground that was destroyed by arson. One aspect of the community build was to incorporate a mosaic wall to separate the toddlers play area from the structures for older children. Many artists and volunteers came together to create the wall. Notable artists who collaborated on the project: Wesley Horn, Julie Didion, Kim Squalia
